- You get the same mist every time: Every MistAway system has the ability to agitate the insecticide to ensure a consistent blend of active ingredients in every mist. By mixing the insecticide, the active ingredients don't settle near the bottom or migrate to the top of the solution, and this means the concentration of the mix won't change from mist cycle to mist cycle.
- Anti-Siphon & Leak Detection: The system is designed with a valve that isolates the nozzle circuit, which prevents an insecticide leak. Though infrequent, it is possible for tubing to be damaged by yard service or even a squirrel. An anti-siphon valve prevents the dilute solution to slowly siphon out of the reservoir and leak, unnoticed, into your yard. The Gen III unit has the ability to detect a leak in the nozzle circuit and suspend operation until it can be repaired.
- Wind Sensor Option: The optional wind sensor allows
the controller to be programmed to check the wind speed before each scheduled
mist cycle. It
checks the wind every minute for five minutes, and if the wind is above
a predetermined speed, the unit will go into hibernation until the next regularly
scheduled cycle. - Easy to Use: The misting system requires minimal attention on your part, such as activating a remote mist prior to an evening cookout, and then temporarily turning the system off while your guests are outside, or changing the timing of a programmed mist. Built into the design is an easy-to-use intuitive interface that won't leave you searching for your owner's manual.
- Weather Tough: The units are exposed to the elements - direct sunlight, high temperatures, rain and humidity - season after season, but your mosqutio misting system should run for many years with little care or attention.
