 The Gen III Tankless Mosquito Misting System
The Gen III is an attractive, state of the art, tankless
outdoor misting system. This consumer-friendly misting system offers
more flexibility and control over the misting products. Because it's
small and lightweight, the Gen III can be placed anywhere in
your yard that is convenient to a hose bib and electrical outlet.

Operating the Gen
III is conveniently simple. Just snap in a cartridge of Summer
Frost botanical insecticide, and the automated controller does all the
work. When the misting system is activated, Gen III precisely mixes
a fresh batch of insecticide from the concentrate. The pro
cap on the cartridge tells Gen III the proper dose of botanical
insecticide to address your mosquito problem.
Gen
III's pro cap technology allows you to tailor the amount of active ingredients
and gain control over mosquitoes and other biting insects. You get
precise, easily maintained control in addition to using the least amount
of insecticide.
Gen III is the only system on
the market that can detect a leak in the nozzle circuit. Once a leak is
detected, it activates the blinking LED light
on the outside of the housing. Future mist cycles are also suspended
until the leak is fixed - saving you money on wasted insecticide.
 The
Gen 1.3 Drum Based Mosquito Control System
For larger residential or commercial applications, we offer the Gen 1.3,
a mosquito misting system that uses a tank to mix and distribute the insecticide. Despite
it's size, the Gen 1.3 can be hidden in your existing landscaping, or near
air conditioning/heating units - anywhere close to a hose bib or electrical
outlet.
MistAway’s™ Drum Based System utilizes a state-of-the-art control
panel designed especially for automatic insect control. The engineered
agitator allows for a consistent blend with each mist. The three button
remote allows for even more control. The auto drain valve insures the nozzles
open and close instantly, eliminating dripping and streaming. The raised
chassis mounts to multi-sized reservoirs.

Other Gen iii and gen 1.3 System Components
In addition to the insecticide,
there are two major components to the systems - the Controller and
the Nozzle Circuit. Other Options can
also be added to your system.
The CONTROLLER is the
brain of the MistAway™ system.
- Found inside a weatherproof
enclosure, the controller is a digital display with easy to use
buttons that allows you to set, reset or confirm the
timing and duration of the mist cycles.
- The backup
battery protects the settings if the power is interrupted and
a panel door lock controls access.
- The Controller also provides
tank level information to the user.
- A remote control is included with
each system to mist in between scheduled mists or even turn the
system off from inside the house and up to 300 feet away.
 The
NOZZLE CIRCUIT consists of
MistAway's™precision-engineered nozzles connected to nylon tubing,
which is installed around the perimeter of the area to be protected.
- The mist pattern is conical in shape and projects 8 - 10 ft from
the nozzle tip.
- The nozzles are typically placed about 10 - 15 ft apart
to ensure full coverage.
- The
nozzles themselves have a high engineering content.
- The tips
are made of a high quality metal and weather well.
- The orifice
has been designed to yield a very fine droplet size at our operating
pressure.
- Because pyrethrins breakdown in ultraviolet light,
black tubing is used where it will be exposed to sunlight.
- Clear
or colored tubing may be used when it is not directly exposed, for
example under the eaves of the house or buried underground.
- The
tubing also may be painted to match its background.
The optional AGITATOR on a drum system mixes the
solution prior to each mist. Unless it is agitated, the insecticide tends
to settle, but the agitator keeps the insecticide from separating, thus
allowing for a consistent blend with each mist.
The optional ZONING KIT helps manage large installations,
and, like a sprinkler system, two separate nozzle circuits can be installed.
The optional WIND SENSOR checks the
wind speed several times just prior to a
scheduled mist cycle. If
the wind is above a predetermined speed, the wind sensor will suspend
that mist cycle and begin checking again prior to the next scheduled
mist cycle.
